Pink Groove is an evening of entertainment that promises to deliver a different "groove" for everyone! The evening’s premium line-up of entertainment features Mister Al Pete and The Katz Downstairz. Refreshments will be served as we dance the night away in our fabulous formal attire and our “flyest” sneakers for a great cause. Funds raised from this fundraiser will support the scholarship and community service programs of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, the Omega Phi Omega Chapter in partnership with Historic Coast Pearls, Inc., and at-risk and under served communities in St. Augustine and surrounding counties. 

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® had its humble beginnings as the vision of nine college students on the campus of Howard University in 1908. The sorority has flourished into a globally impactful organization of over 283,000 college-trained members bound by the bonds of sisterhood and empowered by a commitment to servant-leadership that is both domestic and international in its scope.

To continue the vision of our beloved founders who committed themselves to “Be of Service to All Mankind”, the idea to start a chapter in St. Augustine, Florida was birthed in 2015. On December 16, 2017, the Omega Phi Omega Chapter was chartered and today over 120 members are active in the chapter serving St. Augustine and surrounding counties.

Historic Coast Pearls, Inc is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to support community service efforts and to engage in programs and activities that address the needs that pertain to education, health, environmental and social issues in the Northeast Florida Community.
